According to officials, Dr DY Patil AICET 2015 exam is being conducted to enroll candidates in as many as 150 MBBS and 100 BDS seats offered by the university.

- Candidate applying for Dr DY Patil AICET 2015 should be a citizen of India
- Candidate must have passed 10+2 Higher Secondary Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology with English as a compulsory subject
- Candidates belonging to General Category, should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the total aggregate, whereas, candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category should have secured a minimum of 40% marks in PCB
- Candidates appearing for 10+2 Higher Secondary Examination entrance exam are also eligible to appearing for Dr DY Patil AICET 2015 providing they meet the eligibility criteria at the time of admission
- Candidates seeking admission in MBBS or BDS programme of Dr DY Patil Vidyapeeth University, Pune shall also have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying exam i.e. Dr DY Patil AICET 2015

- Candidates belonging to any of these above categories must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Physics with English
- In case, a student is from any school that follows the American system of education, should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology at ‘Advanced Placement Level’ and must have minimum ‘C’ grade in these subjects.
