MVJ Medical College and Research
Hospital in Bangalore was started in the year 2001 under the umbrella of
Venkatesha Education Society. The college is recognized by the Medical Council
of India (MCI) and is associated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health
Sciences (RGUHS) for conducting the medical undergraduate program leading to
the award of MBBS degree.
The college is an ISO 9001:2008
Certified Institution. The college is also permitted by MCI and RGUHS for
postgraduate degree courses in 12 disciplines, and Post Graduate Diploma
Courses in 6 disciplines.
The college aims at development of
the students and encourages extracurricular activities. A multi stadium with an
athletic track and field events grounds is under planning.
The campus is well spread out over
27 acres with an eco friendly academic ambience. The college has excellent
infrastructure and a dedicated faculty for teaching and training in the
requisite fields of medicine.

broadband connectivity, and all logistic support is available. Modern lecture
halls and auditoriums equipped with all requisite audio-visual teaching aids
ensure an environment conducive to learning.
Excellent hostel facilities with
over with over 500 well-furnished rooms, with separate boys and girls hostel
blocks are available on the campus. A central mess with good dining facilities
is attached to the hostel.
The medical college and the hospital

training in the three areas viz., Primary Healthcare, Emergency Services
and Hospital Services as per norms of Medical Council of India.
