The common test to MD, MS and PG Diploma courses will be held by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) at 86 centers in 41 cities between December 5th and 13th,    2017 . For the dental post graduate courses (MDS), the exam will be held from November 30th to December 3rd,    2017 .

The website for NEET-PG shall be available from Saturday, September 24, and online registration will begin from Monday, September 26. A toll-free number will become functional from Saturday and candidates can also consult the website- www.nbe.edu.in, for further details about the exam. NEET-PG is a single window entrance examination for entry to post graduate medical courses in the country, and unlike a one-time reprieve provided to states for conducting undergraduate medical and dental courses this year, no other entrance examination either at state level or institutional level will be valid anymore. However, autonomous medical institutes— All India Institute of Medical Sciences, PGIMER-Chandigarh, JIPMER-Pondicherry, NIMHANS-Bangalore and SRICHITRA Institute- Thiruvananthapuram, are not covered by NEET PG. The Supreme Court in April this year gave the green signal for NEET, to avoid multiple entrance tests and minimise corruption and irregularities in admissions to medical courses.
