CMC UGET Interviews & Practical Test

1. Interviews and Practical test for selection to the various courses will be held at Vellore according to the schedule between 17 – 19 June. 
2. Candidates who write the All India Entrance Test in May and are short listed for interviews & practical tests will be intimated by letter sent by Speed Post around the first week of June. 
3. Hall ticket numbers of these candidates (invited for interviews) will also be posted on the website around first week of June 2013.

Being called for interview does not necessarily mean selection or acceptance of eligibility.

At the time of registration for interview and practical tests, original certificates should be produced for verification. Attested photocopies are admissible only for the interview BUT NOT for the registration for admission.

CMC UGET Admit Cards 2013

1. Hall Tickets will be available on the website to download, 15 days before the examination.
2. Separate hall tickets will be issued for the two groups of courses (A & B).
3. If a candidate is unable to get the Hall Ticket either by post or from the website 7 days before their entrance examination, they are advised to INFORM THE REGISTRAR, giving full address, the candidate's name, application number, and centre opted for writing the Entrance Test and a fax number if possible, by sending either a fax to 0416 – 2262788/2262268 (giving the above mentioned details and the fax number with STD code for us to send a reply fax) or an email to registrar@cmcvellore.ac.in. 
4. A duplicate hall ticket or the hall ticket number and address of the centre will be intimated. 
5. Use the Hall ticket number and paste a photograph on a blank sheet of paper, sign it and present it at the examination.

CMC UGET Selection Procedure 2013

1. All candidates whose applications are in order and complete will be registered and will go through the competitive process of Entrance Examinations and Interviews for selection.
2.  All admissions are based on inter-se merit.The College recognises that merit is not merely academic merit but is, in addition, a collection of various other factors, which go towards suitability to pursue a professional career.

The selection process / admission will be subject to any orders passed or that may be passed by the Government / University / Professional Councils

CMC UG Entrance Test Pattern 2013

1. The Group A and Group B Science examination will consist of multiple-choice questions in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General Ability with emphasis on Speed and Accuracy and a few questions on issues of current topical interest. 
2. The examination will be conducted in ENGLISH. 
3. Performance in this examination will be the basis for being called for the interviews, practical tests and final selections. 
4. At the time of the interviews for MBBS and BSc Nursing courses, Christian students who have applied under the sponsored category will be given a test on Bible Knowledge (50 multiple choice questions).
5.  The General Paper (Non Science) for Group B will consist of multiple choice questions of a general nature, including very basic science, general knowledge, current awareness and general ability.

CMC UGET Application Procedure 2013

1. It is the responsibility of the candidate to read these instructions and to ensure completeness of the application forms. An incomplete form will be summarily rejected.
2. A printed copy of the completed application form/s along with relevant enclosures and Registration fee as detailed below should reach the Office of the Registrar not later than the last date specified, even if the qualifying examination results are not available by that date.
3. Please note that a separate Registration Fee for each course will have to be paid .
4. The total fees applicable may be paid as one draft or chalan as detailed earlier.
5. The following details should be written on the back of the Bank Draft/chalan:
   i. Application Number ii. Name of the Candidate iii. Course/s applied
6. Please note the application number on your forms. Quote this for any enquiry that you may have and when communicating in all further correspondence with the Registrar's Office.
7. When applying for more than one course: Candidates must list the courses in the order of preference in the application form..Use course codes as given in bulletin.
8. You must scan and keep ready a soft copy of your photograph and signature before filling the application form. Specification for photograph: Recent colour passport size photograph taken after 1st February this year, light background, JPEG format not exceeding 200 KB (Width – 150 pixels & Height – 150 pixels). Specification for signature: Scanned signature JPEG format not exceeding 50 KB (Width – 150 pixels & Height – 50 pixels)
9. Other enclosures: Where applicable, enclose:
• Copy (not original) of Community/caste certificate, duly signed by Dy.Tahsildar or District Magistrate.
• Application form for Undergraduate College Sponsorship for Christians category along with required enclosures/certificates
• Application form for College of Nursing Sponsorship along with required enclosures/certificates Enclosures may be sent separately provided the Application number is clearly mentioned. 
• Enclosures received without this number or after the last date for submission of applications will not be accepted. Academic or extra curricular certificates should not be enclosed

Please read the instructions carefully before filling the form.

Note: THE INFORMATION PROVIDED ON THE APPLICATION FORM WILL BE TAKEN AS FINAL. NO CHANGES WILL BE PERMITTED.

1. Fill the form online and click “submit”.
2. Take a print out of the completed application form and the application confirmation form.
3. Check the details for correctness.
4. Make your PAYMENT by any one of the methods mentioned above.
5. Send in the completed form with the proof of payment and all the other required ENCLOSURES to the Office of the Registrar, CMC, Vellore 632002 to reach on or before the last date.

Please note that while this entire application form is meant to be submitted online, should you get interrupted after you “submit” the “the basic information” or at “upload photo and signature”, you cannot go back to the earlier page. You have to go to main menu & follow the procedure to “Retrieve Application No.” print, complete and send the hard copy to the Registrar”.

1. Please keep your application number as ID and date of birth as password to download your hall ticket from the website.
