Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University Kochi BDS Admission 2016

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University (AVVU) Kochi has invited applications for admissions open for Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) at Amrita Health Sciences Campus for 2016 sessions.

Duration of the Course: Four years plus one year Compulsory Rotating Residential Internship.

Number of Seats: 60 (Sixty).

Curriculum: As per Dental Council of India and the University – Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.

Eligibility Criteria for Amrita University BDS Admission 2016

Applicants should complete the age of 17 years by 31st December 2016 and should not exceed 23 by the said date.

Applicants should pass in higher secondary examination or its equivalent in the first attempt with 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology taken together and 60% marks in English separately.

Those who appear for the qualifying examination in March/April 2016 can also apply.

Selection Process

Selection is based on the rank obtained in the All India Amrita Entrance Examination conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University.

Annual Tuition Fee: Annual Tuitio Fee was Rs.4,50,000/- (Rupees Four Lakhs Fifty Thousand only) last year. Please note that hostel, mess, other fees and caution deposit will be extra.

Exam Centres: New Delhi, Lucknow, Kolkata, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Chennai, Bangalore, Coimbatore, Kozhikode, Kochi, Kollam (Amritapuri), Thiruvananthapuram and California (USA).

Applicants can apply for BDS Admission 2016 at Amrita University by filling downloaded application from the official website www.amrita.edu. The application form for the said course will be available as per scheduled date.
