Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) was established in the year 1986 at BG Nagar, near Sri Adichunchanagiri Kshetra with a vision of providing medical education to aspiring students from rural areas. Admissions to the Government seats shall be made in accordance with the Karnataka Selection of Candidates for Admission to Professional Institutions Rules, (in short ‘Rules’) as amended from time to time. In case of any discrepancy, the Rules shall prevail. The candidates from outside Karnataka can also write the Common Entrance Test. However, the seats in Government / University / Aided courses in aided colleges will not be offered to such candidates. As regards seats in un-aided colleges, the details of seats available, if any, and the procedure of allotment, if seats are available, will be notified subsequently and will be subject to the above condition. The candidate is required to produce proof in support of his / her Nationality from a District Magistrate, Additional Magistrate or Metropolitan Magistrate. School Leaving Certificate of HSC / 12th Std. indicating the Nationality of the candidates Indian or Valid passport also shall be considered a sufficient proof of Nationality. For admissions to MBBS, B.Sc. Nursing the candidate must be born on or before 31st December 1995 to be eligible to appear for Asso-CET 2013. The Secondary School Certificate (i.e. S.S.C.) or equivalent examination certificate or the certificates of age and nationality endorsing the date of birth will constitute the valid proof. The candidate must be medically fit and must submit a certificate of medical fitness. Criteria : A candidate belonging to open category must have obtained not less than 50% Marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology subject taken together at the HSC (or Equivalent) Examination. A Candidate belonging to Reserved Category must have obtained not less than 40% Marks Physics, Chemistry & Biology subject taken together at the HSC (or Equivalent) Examination. No rounding off of the marks secured by the candidate will be done in individual subject or final total while converting marks of the individual subject out of 100 or total marks out of 300. For example, if the total of the marks in three subjects comes to 149 out of 300, percentage comes to 49.66 that will not qualify the candidate. The candidates who are appearing for the qualifying examination i.e. HSC or equivalent in March/April–2013 are also eligible to appear for Asso-CET 2013, provided they must fulfill the eligibility conditions. The eligibility conditions may vary in accordance with Judicial Pronouncements and orders issued by appropriate Authorities from time to time. Registration is a condition precedent for appearing at APGM CET for Post Graduate Degree or Diploma Courses. The full/ permanent MCI/MMC registration is a condition precedent for appearing at APGM CET and its proof including submission of application for registration should be enclosed. A candidate who has completed one year compulsory Internship or is likely to complete the same on or before 31st March 2013 can appear for APGM CET-2013. Candidates likely to complete their internship on or before 31/03/2013 should submit documentary proof from their Principals/Dean of the college regarding the likely date of completion of Internship. Candidate will be fully responsible for submitting correct information in the Application Form. Jawahar Medical Foundation is the brain child of Late Shri Annasaheb Chudaman Patil. The registration of the foundation in 1984 manifests the foresightedness of indefatigable Rev. Annasaheb Patil and is still catering to the needs of the people of the region. The first major achievement came in 1989, when a charitable general hospital was set up to look after the health needs of the rural population of Dhule district. Initially, the hospital had only 150 beds, and was run on no-loss-no-profit basis. In 1989, the foundation started an urban health center inside the Dhule city at lane no 4 and another rural health center at Village Mundalwad in Dhadgaon Taluka (an Adivasi area).

Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Admission-2016 , Guwahati

About Us :    Late Mr. B.P. Chaliha, then Chief Minister of Assam, laid the foundation stone of the college building in the year 1963. The construction of the main college and administrative building at the Narakachal hill top could be started by the AGCC in April, 1965 after the road was completed to the top by the PWD. Part by part the main college building was taken over from April, 1968 to which Preclinical. Paraclinical and Central Library was shifted by August, 1968. Meanwhile, the Silchar Medical College was inaugurated in its permanent building under construction at Ghungoor on 15th August, 1968 and thereby the twin got separated. Dr. Rudra Goswami was put in charge of the Silchar Medical College. The Gauhati Medical College was inspected by Medical Council of India on every first examination of the first batch, that is, the first, second and final MBBS held in 1962, 1964 and 1965 respectively. There were inspections also by the Gauhati University, to which GMC is affiliated, in 1961, 1964 and 1968. Dr. C.S. Patel, President of the Medical Council of India inspected the GMC from 15th to 18th March, 1966. He was so impressed with the progress of the Institution and permitted to start Post Graduate courses in GMC. In February, 1969 Post Graduate started in Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Pharmacology, Community Medicine, Medicine, Surgery, Ophthalmology and Otorhinolaryngology. General Medical Council of U.K. recognized the bachelors degree of this college in 1969, thereby enabling the graduates to pursue higher studies in that country.
