COUNSELING ANNOUNCEMENT
INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES FOR PARTICIPATION IN
COUNSELING AND SEAT SELECTION PROCESS

Sri Devaraj Urs Academy of Higher Education and Research is holding a single window counseling for selection of seat and subsequent, admission to the Undergraduate Medical course (MBBS) at Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College, Kolar for the academic year 2015-15. To ensure a merit based seat allotment and admission process, The Academy has already conducted entrance examination

The Rank List and the Rank Cards of SDUAHER-AIUGMET-2015 have been generated. Eligible candidates can download the rank card through applicant login. General Merit Candidates (Karnataka/ Non Karnataka), who have secured marks of 50% and above have been declared eligible for counseling and seat selection process. Candidates belonging to Schedule Caste (SC), Schedule Tribe (ST) and Other Backward Classes (OBC) of both Karnataka and Non Karnataka, who have submitted relevant documents and secured marks of 40% and above are included in the eligibility list as per the notification and brochure details..

The Candidate should have passed the qualifying examination which is 2nd PUC or 10+2 higher secondary or an equivalent examination. The last two years of study comprise Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) with English as a compulsory subject must have passed these subjects individually and with a minimum of 50% of marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

In addition, in the competitive entrance test, the candidate must have secured not less than 50%
marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

In respect of candidates belonging to SC, ST and OBC, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in qualifying examination and competitive entrance examination must be 40%.

Age:  The candidates should have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st day of December of the year of admission 2015.

Counseling Date: June 2015

Registration: 8.30 AM to 12.30 PM

Seat Selection: 2.00 PM onwards

THE FOLLOWING CERTIFICATES ARE TO BE FURNISHED COMPULSORILY FOR ATTENDING THE COUNSELING AND SEAT SELECTION PROCESS. (Originals and one set of attested photo copies of all the documents mentioned as under)

Medical Entrance Test in Sri Devaraj Urs

1. SDUAHER-AIUGMET-2015 Online Rank Card.
2. SSLC or 10th Standard or equivalent examination Marks Card.
3. 2nd PUC or 12th Standard or equivalent examination Marks Card.
4. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Other Backward Classes (OBC) who are declared eligible under (Karnataka and non-Karnataka) these categories should produce caste certificate issued by relevant authority not less than
Tahasildar of the Taluk. The candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes (OBC) should produce the income certificate issued by component authority.
5. Demand Draft to be drawn in favour of ‘The Registrar, SDUAHER, Kolar, payable at Kolar.

Details of annual tuition fee and Miscellaneous fees. (Refer fee structure).

Note : Any deficiency / discrepancy concerning the above mentioned documents on the day of counseling will be placed before the Advisory Committee constituted for the purpose of counseling and seat selection process for the year 2015-15. The decision of the Advisory Committee of  the Academy will be final and binding.
