The applications are invited for admission in MBBS course under NRI
Quota in Govt. Autonomous Medical colleges in Madhya Pradesh state.
The seats distribution in different colleges is as follow –
1. Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal – 5
2. M.G.M. Medical College, Indore - 5
3. G. R. Medical College, Gwalior - 5
4. N.S.C.B. Medical College, Jabalpur - 5
5. S.S. Medical College - 3
6. Medical College, Sagar - 4
Thus total 27 NRI seats announced by MP Government. The eligibility
criteria as follow –
The candidate should have passed with minimum 50% of aggregate marks
in qualifying examination of 12th Standard (10+2 stream) in Physics,
Chemistry & Biology Subject or equivalent examination thereof. The
proof/certificate must give particular of the subject and also the
percentage of marks obtained/grade awarded in the examination. Grades
should indicate equivalent percentage.
The candidates, who have passed their examination from outside India,
will have to produce equivalent certificate from Association of Indian
Universities, New Delhi.
Candidate should have passed English as a language at 12th Standard exam.
Preference will be given to NRI belonging to state of Madhya Pradesh.
Candidates should be NRI or Children of NRI/ "wards" of NRI, The wards
means a minor for whose person or property, or both there is a
guardian. (Section 4 (3) Guardians and wards act VIII of 1890). The
word "Guardian" means a person having the care of the persons of a
minority or of his property, or both his person or property".
The candidate should complete 17 year of age as on 31st Dec. 2012.
Fees:
a. Tuition fees US$ 12,000 per year or equivalent Indian Rupees.
b. Hostel fee Rs. 10000/- per year or equivalent US$
c. Caution Money US $ 3000 (Refundable after completion of course)
d. Student fund US $ 100
e. Security deposit US $ 10000 (Refundable after completion of course)
f. Other fee as per rule of concerned university/ college.
Candidate has to deposit tuition & other fee at the time of admission
and fees is to be paid in one installment every year as per rule in
the concerned college.
No change of college will be permitted to NRI candidates after admission.
Application can be optained form Director, Medical Education, Govt of
M.P. , Satpura Bhavan, 6th Floor, Bhopal. The form fess is 1000 INR.
Form can be received from above address on paying DD of INR 1000 on
name of Director, Medical Education, Bhopal. The last date for
application is 25th June 2011.
