Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for admissions to Post Graduate Medical Courses (MD/MS/PG Diploma) for the academic year 2016-17 in Constituent Colleges at Navi Mumbai and Aurangabad of MGM PG CET 2016, Navi Mumbai. The notification for MGM Institute PG Medical Common Entrance Test MGM PGCET 2016 has been announced.

Eligibility Criteria for MGM PGCET-2016
A candidate should have passed final MBBS Examination from a recognized Medical College or any foreign medical degree, recognized from Medical Council of India and have obtained permanent registration certificate from Medical Council of India or any of the State Medical Council after completing one year compulsory rotator internship shall be eligible to appear in MGM PGCET-2016 of MGMIHS
The candidates who are likely to complete their internship on or before 31st March 2016 are also eligible to appear in MGM PGCET-2016
The candidates who are likely to complete their compulsory rotatory internship after 31st March 2016 shall not be considered for admission to the Postgraduate course of MGMIHS
The candidate should obtain minimum 50% marks in MGM PGCET-2016 to become eligible for admission to Post Graduate Courses
However, the candidate who has completed or pursuing PG Diploma is eligible to appear for MGM PGCET-2016 for PG Degree in the same subject only
The Candidate applying for foreign /PIO/NRI category need not appear for MGM PGCET-2016; the admission will be based on qualifying exam marks
The candidates who have passed their MBBS Exam from Medical College which are not recognized from Medical Council of India shall not be eligible
MGM PGCET-2016 Selection Process
The selection to a course/college will be made as per merit cum preference given by the candidate
The allotment of seats shall be made to the candidates through personal appearance as per merit list and they will be called as per schedule for Counseling
The schedule of Counseling will be made available on the i.e. www.mgmuhs.com after declaration of the result; no separate intimation regarding counseling will be sent; therefore, all the successful candidates are directed to be in touch with the website of the MGMIHS till date of completion of the admission process for PG Courses
The candidates will have the right to choose any one of the available seats at his/her rank from the general category seats only and the same will be allotted to them
MGM PGCET-2016 Exam Centres
MGM PGCET-2016 will be conducted on 12th December 2015 (Saturday, 02.00 pm to 05.00 pm) at the following centres:

MGM PGCET-2016 Exam Pattern
The MGM PGCET-2016 will be conducted on 12th December 2015 (Saturday, 02.00 pm to 05.00 pm)
(i) The examination will be conducted in English
(ii) MGM PGCET-2016 paper will be of 3 hours duration containing 300 multiple-choice questions (MCQs); Questions will be of single best response objective type with four answer options; each correct response shall be awarded one mark
(iii) There shall be No Negative Marking for wrong answers
(iv) Candidate should completely darken one and the only one best response (oval)
(v) The MGM PG Common Entrance Test shall be of the standard of MBBS Exam and shall cover all the subject of MBBS Courses
(i) The examination will be conducted in English
(ii) MGM PGCET-2016 paper will be of 3 hours duration containing 300 multiple-choice questions (MCQs); Questions will be of single best response objective type with four answer options; each correct response shall be awarded one mark

How to Apply for MGM PGCET-2016
Candidates desirous to seek admission to PG Medical (Degree/Diploma) Courses shall have to "apply online" in the prescribed application form to appear in MGM PGCET-2016
The application cum examination fee for MGM PGCET-2016 is Rs.5500/-; the information brochure and Application Form will be available online from 10th November 2015 to 05th December 2015
