UPPGMET 2016 Exam Pattern

UPPGMET 2016 (Uttar Pradesh Postgraduate Medical Entrance Test) is a state level examination for Unaided Medical Colleges of Uttar Pradesh. For admission to the 2016-17 session, Uttar Pradesh Unaided Medical Colleges Welfare Association (UPUMCWA) will conduct the exam. UPPGMET 2016 will be held on 16th and 23rd January 2016. UPPGMET 2016 Exam Pattern

  1. The examination is comprised of 250 multiple choice questions carrying one mark each.
  2. There is only one correct response for each question out of four responses given.
  3. The test will be of 180 minutes duration.
  4. There is negative marking in the test. 
  5. One mark will be awarded for each correct answer and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
  6. The questions will be based on the syllabus prescribed for the MBBS courses.
  7. The questions will be of the MBBS level.
The admit card for UPPGMET 2016 will be available in the month of January, 2016. UPPGMET 2016 result will be declared in the second week of February, 2016.
